Speed & Agility Training

Our focus isn't only on enhancing the athlete's physical ability — it's on building their confidence and mental toughness. We train athletes from 6 years old to those playing professionally. You don't have to be a superstar to train at Fury. Just possess the heart and the desire to improve every time you step in our facility, onto the field, or onto the court.

Speed and agility training

Four Pillars

What we train.

Pillar 01

Speed

Sprint mechanics, acceleration work, and resistance training to increase stride length, frequency, and top-end speed. Outrun opponents, chase down balls, and reach top velocity more efficiently in competition.

Pillar 02

Agility

Most athletes have a dominant and non-dominant side. We use ladder drills, cone drills, and reactive agility work to increase balance, stability, and the ability to change direction with precision and speed.

Pillar 03

Strength & Explosion

Fast-twitch muscle fiber development for explosive strength and power. Younger athletes build foundation with bodyweight work; older athletes move into free weights and machines with proper technique.

Pillar 04

Conditioning

Obstacle-course-based conditioning that challenges our athletes to negotiate obstacles with proper technique as fatigue sets in. Endurance that shows up when it matters — in the fourth quarter.

The Benefits

Why Fury speed & agility.

Improved Speed

Speed training develops the ability to move quickly over short distances. Sprinting drills, interval training, and resistance exercises increase stride length, frequency, and overall running speed — enabling athletes to outrun opponents and reach top speed more efficiently.

Enhanced Agility

Agility training targets the ability to change direction quickly and efficiently while maintaining control and balance. Ladder drills, cone drills, and plyometrics improve footwork, reaction time, and coordination — allowing athletes to navigate through obstacles, evade defenders, and perform sharp cuts with precision.

Increased Explosiveness

Speed and agility training incorporate explosive movements — jumps, leaps, and bounds — that develop fast-twitch muscle fibers. Increased explosiveness means more power, quicker starts, sharper changes in direction, and faster reactions.

Coordination & Body Control

Speed and agility training require athletes to perform complex movements with precision and coordination. Practicing these drills develops neuromuscular coordination that transfers directly to game-day performance.
